Popular Luo  Ohangla singer Evans Ochieng Owino, popularly known as Prince Indah will not be able to honor his scheduled shows in the coming days.

Prince Indah, who is the CEO of Malaika Musical,  has temporarily suspended his shows due to sickness.

The singer's management pledged to issue periodical updates on his health status as time goes by.

"We regret to alert our fans that due to the unprecedented illness of our leader Prince Indah, we are unable to carry on with the scheduled performance in the next couple of days," the management said.

"We shall however keep you posted on his health progress in due course. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your support and cooperation. Keep Janabi in your prayers."

The singer had a couple of top shows lined up for his performances.

On Wednesday, he announced that he would be performing at the Mombasa Luo Cultural Festival.

"I am privileged to be part of this amazing Luo Occasion in Mombasa this Saturday from 12 noon till late hours. A. S. K Mombasa Show Ground in Mkomani is the place to be. See you there," he wrote on the X platform.

Prince Indah is ranked the top Luo artist by his many fans owing to several hit songs that he has produced.

His songs have not only wowed his Luo community but also many Kenyans who cherish his works.
