"Homa Bay is the Bay of endless potential, a vibrant and stable economy," Governor Wanga. 

President William Ruto on Tuesday, February 27, graced the Homa Bay County International Investment Conference.

The conference was convened by Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga in a bid to market the County and entice investors. 

The Head of State praised Governor Wanga for the work she has been doing in Homa Bay County.

"Homa Bay County is a classic example of how proactive and effective leadership can go beyond the politics of the day to create and expand economic opportunities for the people," remarked Ruto. 

The President added," Under Governor Gladys Wanga, Homa Bay has emerged as an attractive investment spot with diverse value chains, from tourism and hospitality, the Blue Economy, housing to ICT, that can change the fortunes of the County." 


The three-day event is set to take place from February 27th to 29th and aims to attract investors to tap into Homa Bay's investment opportunities. 

In her speech, while marketing the County, Governor Wanga said, "Homa Bay is the Bay of endless potential, a vibrant and stable economy, a skilled and dynamic workforce, suitable market access, availability of land for development, ease of doing business, a supportive legislative and policy environment and importantly, we boast of well-developed transport infrastructure."
