There is a heavy police presence in Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD) following the protests that have been called by ODM leader Raila Odinga. 

In the images seen by Nairobileo.co.ke on Monday, March 20, General Service Unit (GSU) officers barricaded several roads in Nairobi leading to Kenyatta International Convention Centre  (KICC) and State House. 

Other roads including University Way, Dennis Pritt, and Arboretum Road have also been barricaded with security officers deployed in the area.

A section of Azimio supporters was seen along City Hall and outside KICCC before police officers dispersed and arrested some of them.  

In Kibra, police officers were forced to lob teargas at protesters in Kibra who sought to march to Nairobi CBD.

Reports also indicate that Azimio affiliated leaders are awaiting a signal from Odinga before they converge at Nairobi CBD.
